Christy's Pavilion!

There is something in the Huffs' blood that makes them like handcarts... Calvin loved being pulled around in this handcart by his dad. We went up to DL&L to see the missionaries and have a farewell dinner. The missionaries built a pavilion last year and when we came back this year, they named it after Christy! Even the missionaries that have never met Christy talk about her like she is gold! They love you and wished you could have been there, but they all thought pregnancy was a good enough excuse.

Camping and Fishing

We went camping to Trial Lake for one last blast before school starts.

Josh and Sam both caught a few fish. Shawn loved that the boys are getting old enough, that

he could fish himself, and even relax a bit.

As for Ellie, she wanted to "go home" and sat in our tent trailor most of the time.

I guess next time, mom and Ellie will hang at home,

and the boys can go play in the dirt, and have a great fire.

Emma's Hair.

Well Emma did it! She cut her hair and donated it to Locks of Love and the neighbor kid Duane who had long hair was impressed so he cut his hair yesterday and donated his hair too. They look great for heading back to school it we can just get them to stay out of the pool.

Whitney Boys

They made it to the highest point in the Continental US . Thank you for all your help and the warm sleeping bags. It was quite a trip Matthew loved it and Rolan is grateful to have survived it. They had a great group and not one whiner in the bunch. How often does that happen? They have a list of things they would do different. Rolan says its good to know but he doubts he'll ever use this knowledge again. Matthew is home in his bed and savoring the last week of summer and trying to eat all the food that he missed that week. The Cliff bars were not a hit and they buried them rather than carry them any farther.

Hello everyone... I am trying something new, so I added music to our blog. Thought it would be fun to add music to the Huff Family blog as well. Not sure how to put the playlist at the bottom of the page, so we are not looking at it when you view the blog. Mine went to the bottom of the page when I imported it... I am also wondering if anyone knows how to do a signature for a post.

Hi Fam!

Man, time is flying. Only 14 more days until Soph's 1st B-day. CRAZY. Ugh, to think at this time last year I was waddling around, bloated with water weight (not to mention a kid) and just waiting for the day. Time goes too fast.

It's been a rough couple of weeks with Derek being in his new region. He was fortunately home by Wednesday this week, but is usually gone Monday thru friday :( I have made the decision to go back to work on Mondays and Fridays (as well as Saturday). I found a great lady who does daycare out of her home. She has been at it for over 16 years and has grown children. Her mom helps her and she has a total of 9 kids on her busiest day. She is great and I feel good about Sophie being there fo r 2 days. Gives me a very needed break and more so it gives her a chance to kick it with the kiddies without mom hangin around.

I'm attaching some pics of the fashion show makeup that I did. It was a lot of fun! STRESSFULL!!!!! But after all was s aid and done, it was great :) Miss you all.

Thank You Thank You Thank You

Really a much needed Thank you to all of you who helped me move yesterday. Hopefully someone will post some of the pictures of the garden being moved. Dad and Christy so glad you were willing to move my garden. Shawndale thanks for the use of your vehicle. Moores thanks for all the little hands. We have a wonderful family I love you all!!!

Im moving!!!

Hey family so looks like I found somewhere to live. We are supposed to sign the lease tonight. It looks like I will be moving this weekend so if your around I could use some help. I will post the specific time and day when the move will actually happen. Or youll be getting a phone call from me. I dont have all that much to move the biggest thing is my garden its a beast.

Can you believe that my garden started out like this...

And ended up like this in this jungle there are 6 tomatoe plants, 2 thyme plants. 4 peppers, 2 cucumbers, and two basil pants. Cant you wait to help move this thing at the end of the month!!!
